On April 17, 2017, the Atlas Honda introduced Honda city facelift model in Pakistan. The company marked the launch on the 20th anniversary of Honda's city in Pakistan. The new model was introduced with a price increase of 10,000 rupees and minor cosmetic enhancements and a standard (new) audio unit. Extras include a lock (optional). Consumers are reluctant to accept this car, after 10 days of its launch

Difference between Honda City 2016 and 2017 Pakistan

Some major differences between the Honda City 2016 and New Honda City 2017 are as follow.

 

 New front Grill of Honda City

The biggest cosmetic change in New Honda City 2017 is the insertion of a new front grille. It is the most notable difference between the Honda city 2016 and Honda City 2017. The most ridiculous thing about this change is that the same grill is already available in local market at only 8000 PKR.

New Integrated User Interface Infotainment System

Another notable difference between the two cars is the new Honda city comes with a new integrated hi-tech tuner. But this difference is only for the basic variants of the Honda City.

Honda City New Upholstery

The new Honda City 2017 upholstery is different from Honda City 2016. This difference is only for the simple and basic variant of the city, as Aspire is equipped with leather seats.

Immobilizer in Honda city  (Optional Feature)

The immobilizer (anti-theft system) is a modern safety device that is not available in 2016. Now  the immobilizer is part of the new Honda City, but it will not be the same price and the customer will have to pay Extra money for the immobilizer, as it is optional.

New Honda City Door Protectors

There are additional door guards on the doors of the city of New Honda 2017 that protect against knocks at the door.

New City Engine Specs

Honda's new specifications in 2017 indicate that the engine is 1,339 cc, while Honda City 2016 officially had a 1299 cc engine.

What happens is that there is no change in the engine, but before the company officially affirms the engine 1299 cc. The difference is almost nothing for the company, but it counts for the customers. Now, customers must pay symbolic and other taxes according to schedule cc 1339 which is greater than 1,299 cc.

There is a price difference of Rs 10,000 between the two models. Now, the client must pay an additional 10 K

New Honda City Color range

The new Honda City 2017 has a range of more colors and the customer can choose from 7 different colors. Honda Atlas offers this car in the full range of colors of Honda Civic.

Overall, these small changes are almost insignificant and the company disappoints all Honda city fans in the country because people expect the new Honda city in the sixth generation.
